Capital Campaign

Dear Donor,

The lives of many families have been changed as a result of the blessings imparted from those who have contributed to the success of the Capital Campaign resulting in the construction of the Quadrangle Apartment units.

"God bless you!" is to some people nothing more than a vague cliché. But to those of us who realize its full meaning and potential, it is a powerful tool that is capable of marvelous results. The capacity to bless others in word and deed has an even greater potential for good, because a blessing can overcome negativity just as light is stronger than darkness.

As major donors, you are aware that The Haven of Grace, a ministry of faith, has expanded from its residential shelter facility to now include eight transitional living apartments for Haven graduates. The apartments build on The Haven's capacity to provide services in the residential facility to more young, pregnant, homeless women without changing the home-like environment and to provide interim housing to graduates so that higher educational and employment goals are met in a limited time frame —two years or less.

As you continue to fulfill your pledge to the Capital Campaign, we vow, by faith, to exercise prudence in the decisions that lie ahead to finalize the campaign with the construction of the final building that will be responsive the needs of the community and young families we serve and will capitalize on all that we’ve learned through this process.
