ANHUESER-BUSCH COMPANIES AWARDS GRANT TO THE HAVEN OF GRACE
Funding Part of the Quadrangle project

ST. LOUIS (September 13, 2006)- The Haven of Grace, which serves young pregnant women ages 16-24 providing a safe home, parenting skills, and education so they graduate and become tax paying citizens, would like to announce that Anhueser-Busch Companies has awarded $10,000.00 to The Haven of Grace for their Quadrangle Project.

The Quadrangle Project will build three new, four unit apartment buildings immediately east of the existing shelter, on the 2600 block of Hadley Street. Construction is set to begin in March 2007. This new project will allow The Haven of Grace to increase the number of women the program helps each year.

Diane Berry, Executive Director at The Haven of Grace, said " this award is another example of how Anhueser-Busch demonstrates their commitment to improving the lives of women in the local community."

The Haven of Grace, a ministry of faith, is a residential and aftercare program providing a safe nurturing and educational environment for homeless pregnant women by focusing time and resources on mother and newborn as they become a family and begin to establish their life together in the community. Since, 1988 The Haven of Grace has served over 500 women and their children. Currently, The Haven provides services for 270 women and their 454 children in their 10 year aftercare program.
