The Haven of Grace to Benefit
ST. LOUIS (October 9, 2006)- The Haven of Grace,
which serves young homeless pregnant women providing
a safe home, parenting classes and education so they
graduate and become tax paying citizens, is announcing
tickets are still available for the Third Annual The
Best Parties are Always Unexpected. This event will
take place Sunday, November 19, 2006 at world renowned
chef Larry Forgione's restaurant An American Place from
6 PM-9PM. Proceeds from this event will continue to
improve the lives of homeless pregnant women.
The menu will be created exclusively for this event.
Diane Berry, Executive Director at The Haven of Grace,
says "Larry always has created the best meals for this
event. It makes the night so memorable, especially when
people are helping a great cause."
What attendees can expect is sumptuous cuisine created
by multiple-award winning chef Larry Forgione, owner
of An American Place. The Restaurant, located at 822
Washington Avenue in the heart of downtown, is a meticulously
restored historic landmark dating back to 1917. Valet
parking is available.
The benefit will also feature a live auction with a
number of valuable items, including a six day Bahamas
and Caribbean Cruise, aboard the Carnival Liberty. Tickets
are $125 per person. Bring a group of friends and celebrate
the spirit of the Holidays while helping those who are
