The Haven of Grace provides a home for young pregnant women to redefine their lives. A small residential facility in the city of St. Louis, The Haven offers a comfortable and caring environment for young mothers to heal and bond with their infants while also providing a rigorous educational program and support system designed to empower residents to take
personal control of their future and set their lives on a positive, new course.
The Haven of Grace, a ministry of faith, is a residential and aftercare program providing a safe, nurturing and educational environment for homeless, pregnant women by focusing time and resources on mothers and children as they become families and establish their lives together in the community. Key to this endeavor is our belief in the power of hope and the dignity of each person.
The overarching goal of The Haven of Grace is to assist every young mother we serve in strengthening the knowledge, skills and resources she needs to deliver a healthy baby, successfully parent and provide for the needs of her children, complete her education, secure employment and move into a home of her own. We help young women to redefine their lives and recover from their bout with homelessness so that regardless of the negative circumstances of their past, both mother and child can enjoy a healthy and productive future.
The Haven of Grace promotes hard work and self-respect. Our holistic approach with current and former residents includes support for the women's mental, physical, emotional and spiritual development. The Haven teaches the residents to honor their bodies, to respect authority, to take responsibility for themselves and their children, and to discover a genuine purpose in life.
