Honoring a Mother’s Strength and Growth
From diapers to diplomas, Project Inspire is how The Haven of Grace brings this mission to life. We serve women through our residential maternity and transitional housing program and extend care up to ten years through our Project Inspire services. Our programs are designed to interrupt generational poverty, offer healing-centered spaces, and support women and children in becoming the authors of their futures.
The Haven of Grace offers a comprehensive array of services in partnership with trusted organizations such as Nurses for Newborns, Parents as Teachers, Generate Health, Employment Connection, and others. These partnerships, alongside our dedicated team, are critical to building generational change and advancing equity in maternal and child health. Project Inspire is the blueprint. The Haven of Grace is the home. And our mission remains steadfast: to meet every mother where she is, and walk with her toward where she dares to go.
Project Inspire represents our strategic and programmatic response to these realities. It is not a one-size-fits-all model. It is a tailored framework that extends from crisis care to long-term empowerment. Our mission is to deliver programs that:
• Ensure healthy pregnancies and safe births
• Promote positive parenting and child development
• Support access to education, employment, and housing
• Provide mental health resources and community connections
• Build financial literacy and wealth-building pathways
• Equip mothers and children with tools for lifelong stability

From Healing to Leading. From Budgeting to Building Wealth.
Divine Daughters is more than a support group—it is a leadership incubator designed for the women who have walked through crisis and are now being called to rise, lead, and break cycles for the next generation. This closed, confidential empowerment program helps alumnae continue their healing while developing skills in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and purpose-driven leadership. Each monthly session blends community, accountability, and education—with on-site childcare to remove barriers to participation.

The Inca Walker Drop-In Initiative
The Inca Walker Drop-In Initiative honors the memory of Inca Walker, a woman who faced the challenges of homelessness while pregnant and longed for stability she could not reach. Created to serve women who are often turned away from shelters, this program offers immediate relief and dignity through food, showers, clean clothing, and diapers, as well as referrals to critical resources. Open weekly, it provides a safe, supportive environment where women can regain their strength, meet urgent needs, and take steps toward stability, ensuring Inca’s legacy lives on by offering hope and care to others walking a similar path.

Your gift builds hope.
The Haven of Grace gladly accepts donations of new baby items and other basic supplies commonly used by the young mothers, preschoolers, toddlers, and infants residing in our Maternity Shelter.
